The fully furnished cottages are smoke-free and pet-free. Cottage one has three separate bedrooms, a living room and a fully-furnished kitchen complete with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, coffee pot, etc. Linens and towels are included.
Cottage one is surrounded by exquisite rose gardens with water features. The over-sized patio with an outdoor fire pit, the picnic table and lawn furniture make it ideal for an evening campfire or family get-together........or you may opt for some "alone time" in the front porch swing .
Cottage two sleeps 7 in dorm like fashion, has a covered deck, BBQ grill, picnic table, grounds for bad mitten or jarts (you bring games), large shower in bath, fully equipped kitchen with dinning supplies for 4, also 2 queens and 1 twin for sleeping on second floor plus a comfortable queen size futon (spring mattress)on first floor. Linens and towels are included.
The fully furnished Efficiency Suites are smoke-free and pet-free. They have bedrooms, a lounge area, private baths and a fully-furnished kitchen complete with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, coffee pot, etc. Linens and towels are included.
The Black River Cottage suites are 20 miles to the Taum Sauk Reservoir and just five miles from the Black River float area and gravel beaches.
The local diner with good food and reasonable prices, a convenience store for gas and very good pizza is only a mile away and there's "nightlife" three miles away at The Side Track Saloon, which has a nice dance floor and live entertainment on the weekends. The post office, library and doctor's office are all less than a 1/2 mile from Black River Cottages, and you can easily walk to the laundry facility, diner (with a deli) is less than a block away!
